Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are seeking a part-time Teachers of the Visually Impaired to join their team for the ongoing 2025 / 2026 school year.

What You'll Do :

You'll be instrumental in providing specialized instruction, adapting materials, and fostering independence across various age groups. While the specifics of your weekly hours, school assignments, and caseload are being finalized, know that you will play a vital role in creating inclusive and accessible learning environments.

• A deep commitment to the educational success and well-being of students with visual impairments.
• Active DOE Certification.
• A creative and resourceful approach to curriculum modification and assistive technology.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
• Flexibility and adaptability as details for the upcoming school year are finalized.
