A non-profit 501(c)(3), Dorcas International offers adult education, language learning, job training, employment services, citizenship and immigration services, refugee resettlement, clothing and household needs, and more.

The Communications and Marketing Coordinator supports Dorcas International’s communications, marketing, social media, and outreach efforts.

Under the supervision of the Director of Public Relations and Communications, the Coordinator supports digital, print, and live outreach efforts by managing the agency’s social media, coordinating communications and development efforts, attending various in-person outreach events, and more.

The candidate should have the following :

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 2-3 years of communications and marketing experience, including professional social media experience, and advanced proficiency with all social media channels, including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter
• Knowledge of social media and email marketing metrics and analytics
• Familiarity and proficiency with email marketing platforms
• Excellent communication skills, both in writing and orally
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Google Analytics
• Ability to occasionally work outside normal hours when necessary
• Strong project management skills, attention to detail, ability to manage and prioritize multiple complex tasks, and maintain composure under demanding deadlines in a constantly changing environment
• Commitment to collaboration, and customer service and working effectively as part of a team and with individuals from a broad range of backgrounds and cultures
• Strong organizational skills, and the ability to pivot, multi-task, and prioritize to meet deadlines
• Ability and willingness to work both independently and collaboratively
• Attention to detail through copywriting, designing, and editing all marketing materials
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences and maintain strong relationships within a highly collaborative work environment
• Maintain best practices and a current knowledge base by reading relevant publications, and maintaining professional networks
• Team player with good human relations skills
• Local travel required

• Annual Salary : $46,000-$48,000
