ModCorr offers rapid, efficient delivery and setup of minimum to maximum security correctional facilities and specialty units. All products are constructed offsite in a controlled environment and conform to the same building codes as traditional construction. ModCorr’s safe, secure and high-quality units comply with all American Correctional Association (ACA) and American with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.

Position Summary

The QA / QC Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring that all prefabrication processes and products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. This position is responsible for inspecting raw materials, in-process work, and finished products to ensure they meet blueprints, technical specifications, and client requirements. The QA / QC Inspector supports continuous improvement efforts, identifies non-conformances, and collaborates with production teams to resolve quality issues and maintain compliance with industry standards, including ISO requirements.

This position reports directly to the Director of QA / QC (or designated supervisor) and works closely with production, engineering, and project teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesInspection & Testing

• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of raw materials, subassemblies, and finished products.
• Verify conformity to specifications, blueprints, and industry standards.
• Utilize precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection instruments.

Work Environment

The QA / QC Inspector will primarily work in a fabrication shop setting with exposure to machinery, equipment, noise, and potential hazards. The role also includes office-based tasks for documentation and reporting. Safety is critical, and all company safety procedures must be followed, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
