Job description

Position Overview :

We are looking for an Inside Business Development Representative to join this dynamic low voltage design and implementation company. As the Inside BDR you will be focused on outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and pipeline generation. The BDR will engage with target accounts, identify key decision makers, and set up meetings, demos, and opportunities for the sales team.

The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and thrives on building connections through email, phone, and social outreach.

Benefits :

Competitive Base Salary - $58,000 - $68,000

PTO and paid holidays

On-Target Earnings (OTE) : $100K+ (commissions based on qualified meetings, demos, and closed-won deals).

Responsibilities :

Drive outbound prospecting into our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) accounts across industries like healthcare, education, manufacturing, distribution, utilities, and enterprise.

Manage outreach sequences in HubSpot (email, calls, LinkedIn, tasks) and ensure consistent follow-up.

Work closely with sales leadership to qualify opportunities and hand off warm prospects.

Research and identify new accounts using prospecting tools, LinkedIn, and industry networks.

Create and complete follow-up tasks in HubSpot to ensure no lead falls through the cracks.

Track activity and pipeline metrics accurately in our CRM.

Deliver qualified meetings, solution demos, or other meaningful interactions for the sales team.

Collaborate with the team to refine messaging, campaigns, and outreach strategy.

Qualifications :

Minimum of 3 years of B2B inside sales / BDR experience.

Experience in security, cyber, SaaS, IT services, or technology preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, HubSpot CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Teams & Zoom, PowerPoint, and other presentation tools.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Comfortable with high-volume outreach and managing multiple sequences simultaneously.

Highly organized, self-motivated, and driven to hit and exceed goals.
