Job Title : Engineering Coordinator
Job Description
We are seeking an Engineering Coordinator to manage engineering change requests and notices with precision and ensure proper routing. The role includes maintaining and updating tracking reports, analyzing rework statistics, and supporting cost reduction initiatives. Additionally, you will assist with R&D tax credit documentation and load bills of materials and vendor data into the ERP system. You will also coordinate testing activities, document mechanical processes, and occasionally travel to customer sites to gather data and assess equipment performance.
Responsibilities
- Process Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Notices (ECNs) accurately and ensure proper routing.
- Maintain and update engineering tracking reports and project spreadsheets.
- Generate and analyze monthly rework statistics; prepare and distribute performance reports.
- Support cost reduction initiatives and track issued quantities quarterly.
- Compile year-end engineering data and support R&D tax credit documentation.
- Load bills of materials (BOMs) and vendor data into ERP system.
- Investigate low-margin projects and assist with part number creation.
- Coordinate engineering testing activities with the Solution Center team.
- Document mechanical system assembly / disassembly processes.
- Travel occasionally to customer sites to gather field data and assess equipment performance.
Essential Skills
2+ years of administrative experience in engineering or manufacturing.Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.Attention to detail and time management across recurring tasks.Additional Skills & Qualification
Associates or Bachelors degree in Engineering Technology or related field.Experience with Cognos or PowerBI reporting and data analysis.Familiarity with engineering documentation and cost tracking.Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, accounting, and suppliers.Customer service orientation and proactive support during peak engineering periods.Work Environment
The role is primarily office-based with occasional interactions on the production floor. You will be working in a collaborative team environment with cross-functional coordination. There are opportunities for advancement with additional growth plan opportunities.

This is a Permanent position based out of the Kansas City, Missouri area.
Pay and Benefits
