Job descriptionBachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, life sciences, or other related discipline 2+ years of professional software development Proficient in Java, TypeScript, and SQL (PostgreSQL) Experience with Spring (Boot or Framework) and React Comfortable with RESTful API design and consumption Skilled with unit and integration testing using frameworks like JUnit and Mocha Familiar with using the Linux command line Hands-on experience deploying to Microsoft Azure or another major cloud platform Experience in pharma or healthcare technology Proficiency in designing database schemas and writing performant queries Familiarity with Redis and NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB) Ability to perform basic data analysis (such as in SQL or Python) Use of UI frameworks like Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or Material UI Experience with observability tools like Datadog Involvement in system architecture or technical design decisions A problem-solver who enjoys building scalable, high-quality solutions A team player with excellent communication skills Comfortable in a startup environment where flexibility and initiative are key Motivated by real-world impact in healthcare technology Hybrid Work Schedule : Mix of in-office (New Hyde Park, NY) and remote flexibility Salary Range : $90,000-$120,000 Commensurate with experience Paid Time Off Growth Potential : Room to advance as our team and product suite expand

InfinityRx is a health-tech startup on a mission to modernize pharmaceutical claims processing through cutting-edge cloud technology. Our flagship product, the InfinityRx Claims Processor™ (ICP) , is redefining how claims are adjudicated—delivering faster, smarter, and more reliable outcomes for patients and healthcare stakeholders.
We’re looking for a Software Engineer who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys building modern applications from end to end, and wants to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare technology.
What You’ll Do :
As an Engineer at InfinityRx, you’ll be hands-on in evolving the ICP platform and building new tools in our product ecosystem. Your contributions will directly impact patient access and the efficiency of pharmaceutical workflows.
You will :
- Build and enhance key components of our transaction processor, web application, and APIs
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from design to testing to deployment
- Monitor and maintain performance of our cloud infrastructure to ensure uptime and scalability
- Collaborate closely with teammates to architect and deliver clean, maintainable, high-performance code
- Own your tasks with autonomy, using strong time management and follow-through
What You Bring :
