We are seeking a dynamic, highly skilled, and passionate Bilingual Immigration Attorney to join our legal team. This role will provide a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, helping them navigate the complexities of the immigration system. This position is well-suited for someone who is fluent in both English and Spanish and has a deep understanding of immigration law. This role requires at least five years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients regarding immigration matters, including but not limited to, family-based immigration, employment-based immigration, asylum, naturalization, removal defense, and deferred action.
  • Represent clients in immigration proceedings, including both master calendar and individual hearings.
  • Draft legal documents such as motions, briefs, appeals, and applications for relief.
  • Conduct client consultations to assess eligibility for immigration benefits and discuss potential legal strategies.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on case progress and addressing any concerns or questions.
  • Engage in policy advocacy on immigration issues, including liaising with government officials and participating in public speaking engagements.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in immigration law and policy and participate in ongoing professional development activities.
  • Work collaboratively with the legal team to develop and implement best practices for providing high-quality legal services.

Qualifications :

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to a state bar, with good standing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing immigration law.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Demonstrated commitment to immigrant rights and a passion for advocacy.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • High degree of professionalism and adherence to strict confidentiality requirements.
  • Experience with immigration case management software is a plus.
