Formal Education / Training : \n1. High school diploma or equivalent.\n2. RCIS preferred (must have within 6 month of hire) or any TN state licensure that allows for the administration of medication. Must be in compliance with CE Requirements.\n3. BLS within 90 days of hire.\n4. Must respond to hospital within thirty minutes for 'on call' requirements.

Workplace Experience : \nAt least one year of direct patient care experience

Equipment and Skills Training : \nMeditech computer system, Site Rite, Proficient use of guidewires, catheters and other necessary supplies.

Physical Environment : \nHospital setting, sterile patient testing room(s)

Physical Effort : \n

• Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.\n
• Prolonged standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting (50 lbs.)\n
• Ability to transport patients on stretchers or beds up to 250lbs dependently or independently\n
• Make appropriate judgement decisions in urgent or emergency situations.\n
• Ability to work well under pressure response.

Key Results : \nAssembles table for all procedures and maintains sterile field.\nDemonstrates working knowledge of necessary equipment.\nAbility to locate needed supplies / equipment in a timely manner.\nHandles / transports medications / solutions safely and in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures.\nDocuments accurately and timely.\nCommunicates with physician(s) and other team members (patient information, scheduling information, supplies needed)\nAbility to reproduce exams on CD / film.\nSeeks opportunities to assist in other areas during downtime periods and always makes good use of time.\nWorking environment is clean, organized, well stocked, and free of clutter.\nWorks well with fellow employees to provide the most efficient use of the equipment; thus enabling the throughput of patients to be more efficient.\n
