- Lead prototype development and production
- Program and operate CNC machines for complex parts (5-axis machining)
- Collaborate with engineers on custom projects
- Program complex parts using CAD / CAM software
- Inspect work using manual gauges and instruments
- Interpret GD&T and 2-D drawings accurately
- Monitor and inspect parts throughout the machining process
- Follow all quality and safety procedures
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members to solve technical issues
- Participate in Lean manufacturing events
- (Optional) Serve as Team Lead : oversee machinists, provide technical direction, and manage projects
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED requiredAssociate degree in a relevant field OR 5+ years of experienceExpertise in CNC programming and 5-axis machiningSkilled in reading and interpreting complex technical specificationsExperience working with exotic materials and tight tolerancesStrong work ethic and attention to detailAbility to thrive in a fast-paced team environmentExcellent communication skillsAbility to manage sensitive and confidential information(Optional – Team Lead) Experience mentoring or supervising staff, leadership skills, and project / team managementWhat We Offer
