Accountant (Contract-to-Hire)

Location : Minneapolis, Minnesota this is a hybrid role requiring weekly onsite presence in Minneapolis, MN. Only local applicants in Minnesota will be eligible for consideration.

Pay Rate : $35.00 - $43.00 / Hourly dependent on applicable experience

Benefits : This position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

We're partnering with a well-established construction company in Minneapolis that's looking to add a high-level Staff Accountant to their team. This group has continued to grow year over year, and they're looking for someone who can step in, take ownership of core accounting functions, and be a true partner to both finance and operations. If you're someone who feels at home in a fast-paced, project-driven environment and enjoys having a hand in both the day-to-day and the bigger picture, this role will be a great fit.

What You'll Be Doing :

• Month-end close duties, including journal entries and accruals
• General ledger management and account reconciliations
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements
• Tracking and maintaining fixed assets
• Supporting internal / external audits and providing ad-hoc analysis
• Partnering with project teams and leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting
