Facilities Project Representative - Level 2

Performs a variety of administrative duties to support the Plant Engineering department, including the leadership and engineering team. Prepare and maintain a variety of reports, records and files related to assigned activities; composes written and oral communications to convey information. Process credit-card purchases, check requests, and vendor invoices in compliance with company policy. Maintain accurate records for all financial transactions and reconciles statements weekly. Serve as cross-functional liaison between Plant Engineering and internal / external organizations. Department lead for 1LMX initiatives. Collaborates across the Enterprise and Corporation supporting various initiatives. Provides departmental representation on Enterprise committees. Leads and coordinates site events on behalf of Plant Engineering.

This position is in Palmdale, CA.

Effective customer service skills and ability to work well with other organizational leaders and others. Possess a proactive mindset in order to anticipate and support changes in our rapidly changing business environment. Experience working in a construction or facilities maintenance environment. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Familiarity with MAXIMO (or other CMMS). Knowledge of and adherence to all policies and restrictions associated with purchases. Understanding of procurement processes and procedures. Self-starter with ability to work in a deadline driven environment and meet schedule commitments. Ability to work across multiple activities throughout the day / week.
