Job descriptionFabrication and Assembly : Construct and assemble various types of signs, interpreting design specifications and selecting appropriate materials. This includes cutting, shaping, and preparing materials using precision measurement techniques and specialized tools. Equipment Operation & Maintenance : Operate and maintain fabrication equipment such as , welding, and vinyl plotters. Perform routine maintenance as needed. CNC router knowledge is a bonus. Finishing and Quality Control : Apply finishes to signage and ensure all fabricated signs meet quality standards. Collaboration & Communication : Collaborate with team members to ensure projects meet specifications and timelines. Safety & Workspace Management : Adhere to safety policies and maintain a clean workspace. Education : High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification preferred. Experience : Proven experience in sign fabrication or equivalent. Technical Skills : Proficient in interpreting sign details drawings / blueprints and use of fabrication equipment. Strong math skills are also required. Soft Skills : Must have excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills. Physical Requirements : Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials. Must be comfortable working in a shop environment. Driver's license and ability to install signs. Experience with computer software. Welding or metal fabrication experience.
