Job description

Job Title : Manufacturing Associate Technician

Duration : 12- 18 months

Location. Cedar Creek, TX

Responsibilities.

Activity in working to manufacture and FiSH / CiSH test probes in a FDA regulated environment
Activity in formulation and production of general lab reagents to use in production
Work with team to coordinate the manufacture and testing of samples as delivered to meet time frame set by management
Assist in the trouble shooting of technical problems that may arise
Answer technical questions about products
Identifying opportunities for process improvements
Maintaining a work environment based on 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles

Requires :

BS / MS degree in biology, chemistry or related field

2-4 years of relevant experience BS / 0-1 years post graduate experience MS.

A strong working knowledge of standard laboratory techniques, such as Aseptic technique, PCR, documentation keeping, and Microscopy (required)

Strong oral and written communication, organization, team building and computer skills are essential.

A strong working knowledge of standard laboratory practice in a FDA / ISO environment a plus.

Understanding of and experience with FISH (Fluorescence in situ hybridization) assays a plus.
