We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Project Engineer (Transportation) to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work on a variety of transportation projects, ranging from highways and bridges to airports and transit systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure.

This role requires expertise in Civil3D and a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.

Job Details

Responsibilities :

1. Utilize Civil3D to design and manage various transportation projects.

2. Develop and implement project work plans and review as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

3. Coordinate with project staff to ensure accurate and timely recording of project costs and time.

4. Prepare engineering related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids.

5. Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects and scope.

6. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders.

7. Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

8. Conduct project post mortems and create recommendations reports in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

9. Work in compliance with all safety, quality, environmental and health requirements.

10. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and stakeholders, including contractors, construction managers, engineers, and clients.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of civil engineering with a focus on transportation projects.

3. Proficient in Civil3D or similar civil engineering design software.

4. Proven track record of managing transportation projects from conception to completion.

5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

6. Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.

7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

8. Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.

9. Familiarity with industry standard health and safety practices.

10. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
