Position Description

Epic Special Education Staffing is partnering with an exceptional school district who is looking for several contract Special Education Teachers for the 2023-2024 school year.

• Location : Glendale, AZ
• Duration : Immediately - May 2024
• Onsite or Virtual : On-Site
• Full or Part Time : Full Time
• Schedule : 40 hours / week, Monday to Friday
• Grade / Age Levels : Kinder to 6th-Grade
• Caseload Description : Position 1 : Kindergarten self-contained classroom; Position 2 : 3rd-Grade to 4th-Grade self-contained EDP (low class size and 2 aides);
• Position 3 : Self-contained behavior class I am not certain of the grade level, but it is one of these are 4th-Grade to 6th-Grade;

Position 4 : Self-contained special education may be autism.

Qualifications

The minimum qualifications for a Special Education Teacher :

• 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a Special Education Teacher within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
• Valid Special Education Teacher credential / license or in process in the state of practice
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (or in process)
