Facilities & Safety Engineer
I am seeking a skilled and proactive Facilities & Safety Engineer to assist with the operation, maintenance, and modification of facility equipment, systems, and controls. This role involves working with a range of building systems, including cleanroom controls, electrical, mechanical, safety, structural, and waste treatment infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal OSHA regulations, including air / wastewater emissions, waste disposal, fire protection, and chemical safety.
- Conduct audits and inspections to verify regulatory compliance, reporting findings as necessary.
- Interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting systems such as wastewater, DI water systems, and air compressors.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for urgent facility matters.
- Assist in maintaining cleanroom subsystems and ensuring compliance with cleanroom protocols and safety standards.
- Manage chemical storage, handling, waste management, and disposal procedures.
Qualifications & Skills :
Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Facility Management, or related field) preferred.3-5 years of experience in facilities engineering or maintenance.Proficiency with HVAC, electrical, wastewater, and cleanroom systems.Familiarity with OSHA regulations and environmental safety compliance.Hands-on skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repair and maintenance.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in facilities engineering and safety to contribute to a dynamic, fast-paced environment while ensuring a safe and efficient workplace.
