This position is responsible for coordinating and scheduling surgeries and other medical procedures, ensuring patients are prepared with proper authorizations, eligibility verifications, and all necessary pre-operative instructions. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of medical scheduling processes.

Key Responsibilities :

• Coordinate surgery and procedure scheduling, working closely with patients, healthcare providers, and the medical team
• Verify patient eligibility, benefits, and required authorizations
• Prepare and organize pre-operative instructions and patient records
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports for scheduled procedures
• Handle urgent scheduling requests as needed, ensuring timely and efficient coordination
• Provide high-quality service over the phone and follow up on patient inquiries
• Protect patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations
• Participate in relevant team meetings and contribute to scheduling efficiency
• Perform additional job-related tasks as needed
