Job Title : Lead Production Supervisor (Bilingual – Spanish Required)

Location : Near Northbrook, IL

Industry : Automotive – Die Casting, Machining, CNC

Salary Range : $75,000–$80,000 (Direct Hire)

Shift : Starts at 7 : 00 AM – Schedule flexibility after onboarding

Reports To : Manager

Team Size : ~15 direct reports

Interviews : Onsite – Immediate need

About the Role : We're seeking a hands-on, bilingual (Spanish) Supervisor to lead a production value stream within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This full-time, direct-hire role is ideal for a driven leader with a background in high-paced operations who can guide their team to meet key production goals while upholding safety and quality standards. You'll collaborate closely with departments such as CNC, Quality, and Customer Support to ensure smooth, efficient production and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities to meet safety, quality, and performance goals
• Partner with cross-functional teams including CNC, Quality, and Client Care
• Plan and organize production schedules with customer service input
• Assign daily tasks, manage workflow, and support onboarding of new team members
• Provide coaching on performance and attendance
• Track and report daily outcomes (machine downtime, operator efficiency)
• Manage scheduling, timekeeping, and team productivity
• Ensure safe work practices and train team to recognize unsafe conditions
• Maintain and drive key production metrics (OEE, 5S, On-Time Delivery, PPM returns)
• Apply Lean manufacturing tools and foster a culture of continuous improvement
• Mentor, motivate, and discipline team members as needed
• Take full ownership of the value stream – manage it like a business unit
