Job description

The Production Supervisor closely monitors his / her team's work performance against established goals related to production levels, training, safety, discipline, and ISO compliance. This role provides daily direction of work assignments and problem resolution for hourly staff, resolving pending issues with management to ensure daily commitments are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise all aspects of shift assignments for staff, continuously monitoring activities for compliance and quality. Complete related logs, records, reports, and attendance sheets on a daily basis.
  • Achieve or exceed KPIs as established by Redbox management, providing related daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
  • Work collaboratively with shift / senior management to improve operations, develop and implement cost cutting initiatives, and ensure staff is working efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively, building direct relationships with senior management team and hourly staff to optimize productivity.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of warehouse experience required.
  • 1+ years leading a team in a warehouse environment required.

    • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to work on-site at a Redbox facility.
  • Strong problem solving and team building skills; able to achieve performance standards with minimal direction.
  • Must have solid communication and leadership skills.
  • Must be able to set the example to staff through solid attendance, strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and dependability.
  • Ability to adhere to and enforce Redbox operating guidelines and procedures.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow procedures, safety policies, and company protocols and to communicate safety issues / concerns.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, which is subject to change.
  • Ability to work overtime and on weekends as needed; mandatory overtime may be required.

    • Physical Requirements

  • Must be fully trained and able to operate all equipment, which includes problem resolution to achieve minimum loss of production time.
  • Ability to frequently bend, kneel, push, pull, squat, and stand frequently throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift and carry 40+ lbs regularly throughout the workday.
  • Ability to stand for an entire shift.
  • Must wear / utilize necessary safety equipment.
