Account Executive High-Growth Tech Startup

Location : San Francisco, CA (On-site, 5 days / week)

Compensation : $100,000 $150,000 base + competitive equity + uncapped commission

Employment Type : Full-time

About the Opportunity

A fast-scaling tech startup is seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Account Executive to help expand its rapidly growing customer base. This is a high-impact role for a sales professional who thrives in a startup environment, loves to build process while executing at full speed, and is excited to play a key role in shaping a companys growth trajectory.

Youll take ownership of the full sales cyclefrom outbound prospecting through deal closewhile collaborating with leadership to refine playbooks, develop scalable systems, and identify new opportunities for expansion.

What Youll Do

  • Own the entire sales process : prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close mid-market and enterprise deals.
  • Manage and expand a high-volume pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Develop and refine scalable outbound strategies and playbooks.
  • Partner with leadership to shape sales processes that drive growth and efficiency.
  • Build long-term client relationships through trust, consultative selling, and measurable results.
  • Bring creativity, urgency, and structure to a fast-moving go-to-market team.

Who You Are

  • 38 years of experience selling software or services to tech companies , ideally in a high-growth startup.
  • At least 2 years of closing experience as an Account Executive (current role).
  • Proven top performerPresidents Club, quota crusher, or fast-track promotions.
  • Experience with outbound prospecting (at least 6 months as a BDR / SDR).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Competitive drive, grit, and passion for building something from the ground up.
  • Excited to work in-person 5 days a week in San Francisco .
  • Track record of excellencewhether in sales, academics, athletics, or another competitive domain.
