Busy Dermatology office seeking experienced Medical Assistant for front / back office.

Candidates MUST have Dermatology Medical Office experience, excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Back Office Duties include :

preparing patients for examinations - including taking patient history

assisting with cosmetic / laser and surgical procedures, including Mohs

cleaning, sterilizing, and preparing instruments and equipment for various procedures

preparing lab specimens

maintaining rooms - including stocking and cleaning

managing calls from patients, physicians, and pharmacies

facials, peels, acne treatments

Front Office Duties include :

taking phone calls

managing patient appointments

collecting patient payments at check out

coordinating patient care with other offices

filing paperwork, charts

assisting physicians with prescriptions

NO new graduates will be interviewed. Dermatology Office experience is highly important.
