Audit Senior
ROLE : Audit Senior
SALARY : $80-120k+ DOE
LOCATION : Sacramento, CA (Hybrid)
We are an established and respected full service accounting and auditing firm offering audit, tax, consulting, litigation support, and forensic accounting services.
We are looking to hire a Senior Staff Associate to join our Sacramento audit practice.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible for leading client engagements and assigned staff through the planning, fieldwork, and completion stages of the audit
- Takes responsibility for engagement administration, to include coordinating the planning process and engagement completion
- Desire and ability to maintain positive client relationships
- Collect and analyze data
- Identify and research accounting issues when they arise.
- Contributes to the firms overall growth by actively participating in administrative and operational functions
REQUIREMENTS :
3-6+ years of recent and relevant public accounting audit experience of nonprofit and governmental entitiesBachelors degree in accounting, finance or related fieldMust be a CPA or CPA exam candidateIntermediate Knowledge of Accounting & Auditing principalsExperience with planning audits and preparing financials for governmental and nonprofit clientsAbility to work collectively with clients, managers and co-workersPossess strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and research abilitiesInitiative to learn new areas beyond scope of workProficient in the use of accounting, spreadsheet, word processing, and database computer softwareExperience with 990s a plusWe are always hiring Audit Staff, Seniors, Manager, Sr. Managers.
