Job Summary

• Main OR
• Full time; 8 : 30am-9am (days varied)
• Call required
• CST and BLS (American Heart Assoc) required
• Ortho experience a plus

This position is located at Memorial Hermann Katy.

Position is responsible for providing competent perioperative patient care through the use of equipment and instrumentation. Position functions as scrub assistant to the physician performing operative and / or invasive procedures. Works under the direction of a Registered Nurse and as outlined in the Surgical Technologist Skills Inventory.

Job Description

Minimum Qualifications

Education :   Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program

Licenses / Certifications : Certified in Basic Life Support current Certification as a Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology & Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
