Electrical Controls Engineer - mid-level

Attention all experienced Engineers! Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity in the Power Generation and Oil & Gas industries? Look no further than this exciting role as an Electrical Controls Engineer with a global leader!

We are seeking a talented Controls Engineer with expertise in PLC programming, control panel design, instrumentation, and more to join our dynamic team. As a Controls Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects worldwide and be a key player in the success of our company.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Electrical, Control Systems, and / or Automation Engineering
  • 2 years of automation experience with direct involvement in PLC / HMI software development, configuration, testing, and implementation
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred

Skills :

  • Proficiency with Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation, Siemens, or GE / Emerson PLC platforms
  • Familiarity with various gas turbines for power generation and / or oil & gas applications
  • Working understanding of UL508a and National Electric Code (NEC)
  • Electrical process design and AutoCAD experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

    • Responsibilities :

  • Design and development of PLC-based Control Systems
  • Design AC / DC systems
  • Creation, review, and approval of project deliverables
  • Oversight of control panel fabrication and testing
  • On-site testing and validation of system performance
  • Troubleshooting of existing PLC programs
  • Effective communication and collaboration with various levels within the organization
