Role Summary :
In this role, you will evaluate and provide therapeutic interventions to patients, helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life. You will play a crucial role in developing and overseeing functional maintenance programs and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
Duties & Responsibilities :
Provide occupational therapy services to patients with mental, emotional, or physical challenges, focusing on improving their ability to perform daily living activities.
Deliver remote and on-site therapy coverage for multiple locations to support clinical and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with the team on patient assessments, care planning, and team-based care coordination meetings.
Support staff development through onboarding, competency training, and process implementation.
Contribute to operational excellence by leading data collection, analysis, and compliance reporting.
Assist in the creation and facilitation of presentations and quality improvement initiatives.
Actively participate in strategic planning, project execution, and interdisciplinary committees to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.
Partner with managers and quality teams to align rehabilitation services with broader organizational goals.

Required Qualifications :
Current Occupational Therapist license issued by the State of California Occupational Therapy Board.
Minimum of 1 year of experience working with elderly or disabled populations.
Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or American Red Cross).
Desired Qualifications :
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, Cantonese, or Mandarin is highly valued.
Post-professional education and training in Physical Agent Modality preferred.
