Our affiliate, Unified Womens Healthcare of Texas, is looking for a Certified Nurse Midwife to join their prestigious practice at Moontower Midwifery. This practice is led by Certified Nurse Midwives and offers a true midwifery model. Join a compassionate group who provide a team approach to patient care. Certified nurse midwife (CNM) is responsible for working closely with both gynecologic and obstetric patients, assisting in births, and providing health care to women post-pregnancy. The CNM will assist with prenatal care, labor, delivery, and postpartum care, and may also provide reproductive care, treatment, and education to female patients.

Position Highlights:

• This position is ideal for an experienced CNM looking for a leadership role
• The practice has a team of 5 certified nurse midwives and 1 OB/GYN physician
• 2-3 days of clinic per week with an average daily patient census of 16-18
• Enjoy a well-balanced call schedule with 7 call shifts (24-hour shifts) in a 5-week period, including one Saturday and one Sunday; you will be off on your post-call day
• Each CNM averages 10 deliveries per month
• Call can be done from home if CNM lives within 30 minutes of hospital (St. David's North Austin Medical Center)
• Ability to build up own patient clinic practice within the group.

Requirements:

• AMCB Certified Nurse-Midwife
• Graduate of a nurse-midwifery education program accredited by ACNM Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME)
• Master's degree in nursing (MS/MSN)
• Active and unrestricted state registered nurse (RN) license
• CPR and NALS Certification
• Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
• Leadership in a CNM role is highly preferred
• 2 years of full-time experience as a CNM is preferred
• Labor & Delivery experience preferred
