Description :

Two contractor Registered Nurse positions are available for second shift hours.

The working hours are from 1 : 30 PM to 9 : 30 PM, five days a week.

Every third week, weekend work is required, with a day off before and after the weekend.

In this role, you will be responsible for the healthcare of 20-60 bedridden individuals.

Responsibilities include making rounds, evaluating care needed and rendered, creating care plans, and teaching healthcare principles.

You will administer medication, including narcotics, and provide direct nursing care as needed.

Specialized procedures such as IV therapy, chemotherapy, wound care, oxygen therapy, dialysis, blood transfusion, incubation, CPR, tube feeding, catheterization, suctioning, and phlebotomy duties will be performed.

You will organize and oversee "code blue" teams and direct healthcare staff assigned to your area.

As the lead worker, you will be in charge of the assigned shift in the absence of higher-level nursing staff.

You will assist physicians in giving diagnostic health evaluations.

Clerical tasks include charting and recording all medications, treatments, and pertinent medical information, as well as completing required reports such as incident and accident reports.

You will document Medicaid information, order supplies and equipment, and maintain an accurate inventory of controlled drugs and medical equipment.

You will arrange for outpatient clinic appointments, medical examinations, and new and refilled prescriptions.

Administrative tasks may involve serving as a liaison with others and attending or conducting meetings.

You may also serve as an instructor on occasion or as a member or leader of problem-solving teams or groups.

Physical fitness and the ability to deal with abstract and concrete variables will be beneficial in this role.
