Legal Records Specialist
Incumbents in this position perform general and routine office support duties related to the Criminal Division of the City Attorney's office. This position is responsible for all aspects of responding to discovery requests, redacting, and disclosing discovery to defendants and attorneys in various media forms.
Education and / or experience : HS Diploma or GED and two years of clerical and administrative experience including computer use. Preferred experience in audio, digital, and / or visual editing in a legal or law enforcement environment. Relevant experience may be substituted for each year of required education. Additional education cannot be substituted for experience.
Selection process : Applicants whose education, training and experience most closely meet the needs of the position may be invited to participate in a selection process to include a panel interview. Successful candidates will receive a post-offer, pre-employment background screening may include : Criminal Background Screening, Drug Screen, E-Verify, Fingerprinting.
