Role Overview :

We are seeking a Steel Estimator to join a leading subcontractor in New York City. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in major commercial and industrial projects , with strong career growth potential. The ideal candidate will have proven estimating experience in steel construction, excellent attention to detail, and strong technical skills.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for steel packages
• Review and analyze drawings, plans, and specifications to determine labor and material needs
• Build and maintain supplier and subcontractor relationships in the steel trade
• Support project managers in aligning estimates with overall project budgets
• Assist with the preparation and submission of competitive bids and proposals
