Job Description

Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects. Analyze project requirements, drawings, and specifications to determine material and labor costs. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure accurate estimates. Evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate contracts to achieve cost efficiency. Monitor project progress to ensure budgets and timelines are met. Maintain accurate records of estimates, contracts, and project costs. Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on budget performance. Stay updated on market trends, material costs, and construction techniques.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Construction Estimator should have : a strong background in construction project estimating within the property industry; knowledge of construction methods, materials, and market pricing; proficiency in estimating software and tools; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; strong communication and negotiation abilities; a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
