General Description

Leads production efforts in the manufacturing of electro-mechanical assemblies as an individual contributor. These assemblies involve various electronic assembly operations to include but not limited to SMT soldering and repairs, through-hole soldering and repairs, optical fiber, fiber cables, hybrid wiring harness assemblies, wire termination, cable harness assembly, cable harness integration into chassis and modules. This an advanced position.

Duties

• Assembles electrical and electronic components, wiring harnesses, and other electrical assemblies and subassemblies.
• Manufactures electronic / electrical circuitry, electronic components (CCA's), and wiring harnesses according to Manufacturing Orders (M.O.), Drawings, Engineering Changes, Customer Specifications, and Process of Instructions (P.I.).
• Understand and interpret IPC / J-ST, AS, and MIL specifications as they relate to Defense / Aerospace.
• Procure the necessary tools, parts, and consumables for all assembly applications.
• Check stock bins for adequate supplies of sub-assemblies, parts, and fasteners.
• Develop constructive, goal driven relationships.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with company policies.
• Work as either an individual contributor, in a team environment or as a designated team lead
• Ensure production goals and expectations are achieved
