Network / Systems Engineer
Title : Network / Systems Engineer
Location : Wooster, OH - Hybrid (On-Site Mon, Tues, Thurs)
Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
Position Overview
The Network / Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing network systems and controls in a manufacturing environment. This role requires expertise in automation, PLC systems, and communication protocols to ensure seamless operation and connectivity of various systems and devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement network solutions for manufacturing systems, ensuring reliable connectivity and performance.
- Manage and optimize PLC systems, particularly ControlLogix, to enhance automation processes.
- Integrate HMI systems using AVEVA and Wonderware for efficient user interfaces and data visualization.
- Develop and maintain control panels and associated hardware to support manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
- Utilize Object Oriented Programming and .Net Programming to develop software solutions that improve system functionality.
- Perform SQL database management to ensure data integrity and accessibility within manufacturing systems.
- Provide training and support to staff on network and system operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in network architecture and systems engineering within a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of automation technologies, including PLC programming and HMI development.Familiarity with AVEVA and Wonderware software applications.Experience with Ethernet and IP communication protocols.Proficient in Object Oriented Programming and .Net Programming.Knowledge of SQL for database management and reporting.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Benefits
