Job descriptionJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar. 3-5 years of experience in probate, trust, and estate litigation in California. Strong knowledge of California probate law, trust administration, and estate planning. Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Proven ability to manage cases independently and as part of a team. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities. Base Salary $170,000 - $215,000 Plus, a yearly bonus based on firm / employee performance. Probate Trust & Estate Attorney
Career Consulting Partners has partnered with a nationally recognized firm in the probate, trust, and estate space. They have been recognized as a leader in Private Wealth Disputes in the "Chambers and Partners" 2024 High Net Worth Guide, which ranks top lawyers and law firms from over 55 countries worldwide.
We are seeking a highly motivated Mid-Level Attorney with experience in probate, trust, and estate litigation to join our team in Brentwood Los Angeles California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in California probate law, trust administration, and estate disputes, with a proven ability to manage cases from inception to resolution. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on complex and challenging cases while advancing your career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Handle a diverse caseload of probate, trust, and estate litigation matters, including will contests, trust disputes, fiduciary litigation, and related issues.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in court appearances, mediation, and settlement negotiations.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients, keeping them informed of case progress and developments.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant California laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and effective case management.
- Participate in firm meetings, continuing legal education (CLE) programs, and other professional development activities.
