Retina Specialists of Alabama in Montgomery is seeking a vitreoretinal surgeon to fill a recently vacated position that has immediate, robust patient volume and supports two operating days per week. This is a physician-owned private practice with a well established and extensive referral network. Located adjacent to Baptist Medical Center South, this practice was founded approximately 40 years ago and is strongly affiliated with three other retina specialist groups throughout Alabama. These groups share a common business management company, which provides economies of scale advantages to each practice.
The position that is currently available will be sustained by three rotating doctors from one of the affiliated retina groups nearby until a new surgeon is identified. A very competitive package, along with a well defined, fast track to partnership is being offered. This area offers a low cost of living, easy access to the Gulf Coast, and is near spectacular Lake Martin. The office is also in close proximity to one of the most vibrant university environments in the SEC.
