SMS Staffing Inc is Hiring Immediately for a skilled Instructional Designer!
Job Title : Instructional Designer - A
Job Location : Santa Clara, CA, U.S.A. 95054
Job Type : Contract (possible extension or convert to hire)
Pay : Starts at $41.00 an hour
Shift Structure : ONSITE, TBD-Daytime hours, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
The role of the Instructional Designer :
- Creating engaging learning activities and compelling course content
- Working with subject matter experts to identify learner training needs and content.
- Creating and maintaining a library of clinical case examples from video and presentation materials
- Setting instructional end goals and creating content that matches them.
- Visualizing and creating instructional graphics, the user interface, and the finished product
- Analyzing and applying trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design
- Creating exercises and activities that enhance the learning process.
- Creating supporting material / media (audio, video, simulations, games etc.)
- Devising modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the course.
- Maintaining project documentation and course folders
- Documenting standards and development process including testing and quality assurance.
- Supporting and maintaining Professional Education curricula.
About the Instructional Designer :
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience :
- BA / BS degree required
- Experience utilizing these types of programs : iSpring Suite, PowerPoint, Articulate Rise and Adobe Creative Suite
- Established instructional design training, skills, and samples of previous projects required.
- Experience working in a regulated environment, preferably medical device, or healthcare.
- Strong interpersonal skills; written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, self-directed, and self-learner; comfortable with prioritizing, establishing objectives and processes, and working to achieve them.
- Highly organized, capable of managing project status on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective, collaborative working relationships.
