Job Details

As a Senior Accountant, you will :

1. Manage all aspects of the month-end close process, including preparation and posting of journal entries, analysis of account balances, and preparation of financial statements.

2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring they comply with financial regulations and standards.

3. Review and reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

4. Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts, and report variances.

5. Coordinate with external auditors, prepare necessary documents, and assist with annual audit processes.

6. Develop and implement effective accounting policies and processes to improve financial operational efficiency.

7. Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws for financial and tax reporting.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate will have :

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role, with a focus on month-end close processes.

3. CPA or CMA certification is preferred.

4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.

5. Experience with accounting software and databases.

6. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

7. Excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts.

8. Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments.

9. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

10. High attention to detail and accuracy.
