Equitable Audit Services

With this internship, individuals will obtain a comprehensive view across the company and assist in meeting Company objectives spanning various subject matters.

Equitable Audit Services (EAS) provides independent and objective assurance and advisory consulting services through a highly competent and diverse team. As a business partner, EAS assists management by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach in evaluating and improving the Company's risk management, control, and governance processes.

The intern's key responsibilities will include :

• Assist in internal audit activities including discussions and inquiries to our business partners, identification and understanding of risk and controls, development and completion of testing, and the communication of results.
• Assist in Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) testing including updates to process documentation, completion of testing, and communication of results.
• Assist in process improvement initiatives in the Department.

Internship Details

Dates : Nine week program starting in early June 2026

Location : Charlotte, NC or Syracuse, NY

Work Environment : Hybrid / Flexible (required to be in the office 2 days / week)

Hourly Rate : $22 / hour

Housing : Intern housing available

Competencies and Skills

Decision Making and Critical Thinking : Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

Effective Communications : Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Self-Directed Growth and Development : Understanding of the necessity of continuous personal growth; ability to gauge one's strengths, limitations and interests, and use of this knowledge for purposes of performance effectiveness and self-development.
