Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.

Min 3 years of experience in HR - experience in the Civil Engineering Industry is a Plus

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Experience with full-cycle recruitment, F-1 and H-1B onboarding.

Experience with legal compliance, and

Minimum 3 years of experience with processing payroll and benefits administration.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), ADP systems, or similar HRIS platforms.

SHRM-CP or (PHR) certification is a Plus.

Detail-oriented, proactive, ability to maintain confidentiality, and strong problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities :

Recruitment Support :

Post job openings in key areas based upon staffing needs.

Screen resumes for the top talent and maintain candidate databases.

Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates.

Onboarding and Offboarding :

Prepare new hire paperwork and facilitate the onboarding process.

Process offboarding paperwork and conduct exit interviews.

HR Administration :

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.

Benefits administration :

Collaborate with department managers regarding staffing needs.

Track and maintain the team’s PTO and Unpaid Time Off.

Process HR-related invoices and expense reports.

Generate quarterly HR reports as needed.

Prepare and maintain company job descriptions.

Prepare, maintain, distribute, and enforce Company Policies & Procedures.

Assist with ensuring team members are meeting company training standards.

Track team certifications and licenses.

Tracking industry trends to determine effectiveness

Compliance :

Ensure compliance with federal and local labor laws and mandates.

Assist in preparing for audits and maintaining necessary documentation.

Employee Relations :

Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.

Assist in resolving basic employee relations issues.

Perform performance reviews.

Compensation :

The compensation range is a good-faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skill set, and physical work location.
