As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Coverage in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations to help maintain a secure environment for all visitors and employees. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within the retail location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment for customers and staff.

Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas of the location to observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.

Work closely with store management and Allied Universal leadership to address client needs and support a welcoming atmosphere.

Document incidents, observations, and activities as required by site-specific policies and Allied Universal procedures.

Remain visible and approachable to assist customers, answer questions, and provide directions when needed.

Minimum Requirements :

A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

CPR or first aid certification is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
