Biosample Operations Specialist

A company is looking for a Biosample Operations Specialist responsible for overseeing biomarker laboratory samples for clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and oversee the lifecycle management of biomarker samples ensuring integrity and compliance

Collaborate with study teams to develop biological sample management plans and review relevant documentation

Interface with laboratory personnel and vendors to ensure proper shipment and receipt of samples, addressing issues as needed

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Immunology, Medical Technology, or related life sciences field preferred

Experience in a laboratory, research site, or clinical trial management role at a biopharma company

Working knowledge of FDA & ICH / GCP regulations

Ability to manage sample activities across multiple projects with an electronic tracking system

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
