Senior Group Underwriter

A company is looking for a Senior Group Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

Underwrites Voluntary Supplemental Health proposals and in-force case activity, assessing risk and making decisions

Communicates with sales representatives, account managers, brokers, and clients regarding underwriting assessments and pricing

Independently applies underwriting judgment and formulates pricing decisions while managing ad hoc projects to improve service and efficiency

Required Qualifications

Group underwriting experience in Voluntary benefits, preferably 2+ years

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks with limited oversight

Strong analytical and mathematical skills

Proven ability to develop strong working relationships
