On-Call Security Officer : CPChem Headquarters Woodlands
Under the direct supervision of the Security Supervisor, officers provide protection of work sites, personnel, and assets from events such as trespassing, theft, vandalism, harassment, assault, and other disruptive incidents. Conduct investigations, alcohol and drug screenings, and perform post duties as assigned. Performing access control is a core function of this position. Comply with DUS and client safety guidelines, policies and procedures.

Work Schedule : Schedule and hours will vary based upon business needs.
Required Qualifications :
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Military, law enforcement, or security experience preferred, but not required.
- Some officers will be required to have or obtain with 90 days of employment Emergency Medical Responder certification
- State of Texas Level II Unarmed Security Officer license (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to speak, read, understand and write English
- As a condition of employment, must be able to successfully complete a criminal background investigation, drug screen, and a post-offer physical evaluation.
Desired Qualifications :
Minimum of two years of experience in law enforcement, military police, corrections, or private security company within the past five years. Military experience in an applicable specialty may be substituted for law enforcement experience.Essential Functions :

Working Environment : The majority of work is performed in and around an oil refinery with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities and abilities.
Physical Demands : The employee's work requires routine walking, standing, bending and carrying items up to 25lbs. Applicant will be required to successfully complete a post-offer pre-hire physical.
