Texas Licensed Litigation Drafting Specialist

A company is looking for a Senior Brief Writer / Litigation Drafting Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

Draft and respond to motions, appeals, petitions, and federal complaints across multiple jurisdictions

Prepare high-quality briefs for state and federal court proceedings and collaborate with attorneys on litigation strategy

Train and supervise a team of legal assistants in AI-assisted legal drafting while ensuring compliance with relevant procedural rules

Qualifications

JD required; active Texas Bar License strongly preferred

5+ years of proven experience in legal brief writing and motion practice

Demonstrated success in drafting appeals, petitions, and federal complaints

Proficient in legal research and drafting tools, including LexisNexis and Westlaw

Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising or mentoring legal staff
