Machinist III

Job Description

Are you looking for a way to leverage your skills as a machinist into a Tool & Die Maker role? Look no further! As an experienced machinist, you will take on the most complex machining and fitting tasks, working with a variety of parts, tools, and machines to support production operations and job shop machining. You'll be responsible for laying out work based on blueprints, sketches, and written specifications, and setting up and operating a wide range of machine tools. Your role will involve performing progressive machining operations with very close tolerances, often on work with unique or challenging requirements. You'll determine the best sequences for operations and skillfully use all machinist hand tools and measuring instruments. With a deep understanding of the working properties of various materials, you'll also program Fanuc and Okuma CNC machines to produce precise parts. Additionally, you will fit and assemble parts as needed and act as a technical resource for less experienced machinists, guiding them through more complex tasks. In working with our Tool & Die department you will eventually work your way into a Tool & Die Maker role.

Hours : Mon-Thurs : 5 : 00am-3 : 30pm

Compensation : $31.25-$45.72 per hour
