The Multimedia Supervisor oversees media equipment operations, manages the equipment checkout system, and supervises student staff. This role provides technical support to students and faculty, conducts training and workshops, and collaborates with the Media Tech Team to maintain and improve classroom technology services.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage, update, and maintain equipment checkout program.
• Organize, audit, inventory, and retire media equipment; recommend new equipment as needed.
• Clerk checkout desk.
• Hold office hours for student equipment and software use support.
• Demonstrate and distribute equipment to classes as requested by faculty.
• Offer equipment training and multimedia software workshops.
• Schedule, train, and supervise student staff.
• Maintain and update checkout, return, and staffing procedures.
• Repair and clean media equipment.
• Create tutorials for media equipment and multimedia software.
• Participate in Media Tech Team meetings, recommendations, and general classroom support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Appointment Information

This is a 100% full-time Civil Service 2513 - Multimedia Supervisor position. The expected start date is as soon as possible after the close of the search. The budgeted salary for this position is $48,000 - $55,000. We strive to provide a competitive salary, considering factors such as available market data, internal equity, candidate experience and qualifications, collective bargaining agreements, and budget constraints. The final salary offer will be determined through a thorough assessment of these elements.
