Summary : Seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in metals, welding, and automation to enhance efficiency and improve processes within our facility.
Requirements :
Must have experience with metals, welding, and automation
Experience in continuously improving operations used to turn raw material into finished products is necessary
Ability to collect data and conduct time studies for part cycle times and work closely with programmers to enhance part cycle times
Skill in identifying and recommending changes to facility layout for machines, storage units etc. for more efficient processes
Preferred Skills :
A degree in a relevant field is preferred but not mandatory
Responsibilities :
Support the efficiency and improvement of processes within the facility
Be responsible for continuously enhancing all operations used to turn raw materials into finished products
Collect data and perform time studies for part cycle times and collaborate with programmers to improve these times
Identify and suggest facility layout changes to machines, storage units etc. that can lead to more efficient processes
Please note : Candidates from the Automotive or Aviation / Aerospace industry will not be considered. Local candidates are highly preferred.
Pay Details : $37.00 to $49.00 per hour
