Job Description

We are seeking a Mill Operator to manufacture high-quality printing ink. We will train right candidate to operate a mill machine and on TPM activities. As a Mill Operator you will be responsible for :

• Running batches of ink at proper mill settings
• Packaging finished product in various containers and applying labels
• Cleaning and maintaining machines to TPM Standards
• Learning and applying TPM knowledge to daily activities
• Hockmeyer mill operation :  Running and maintaining optimum OEE (overall equipment effectiveness) standards
• Creating and maintaining a database of all existing formulas including processing times
• Canning ink
• Operating the following : Press out unit, pump filter equipment, and forklift
• Acting as a QC liaison, providing ink samples, making ink adjustments, and recording data
• Completing scheduled maintenance and utilizing troubleshooting procedures.
• Helping with repacks
