Our client is a 370 bed hospital and is part of one of the largest and most successful hospitals in the United States, with over 30 hospitals in over 10 states.
Job summary :
An IR tech sets up sterile equipment trays, positions patients correctly for interventional radiologic procedures, helps operate fluoroscopic equipment, and helps capture images. They must be knowledgeable about the procedures, equipment, and anatomy visualized.
Performing Line Placements, Angiograms, and Kyphoplasty
Performing Percutaneous Nephrostomy Exams
Familiar with GE Innova equipment
Assist with Angiography examinations
Able to work on call
8 week traveler
Required Qualification :
At a minimum, a high school diploma and complete a training program at an accredited school
MUST have a current CPR and Venipuncture license
ARRT Certified with specific certification
Demonstrate competency in the use of all applicable aspects of the CIS, RIS, and PACS
Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support
Minimum of two years of clinical X-Ray
CRT Permit from the State
Good understanding of providing superior patient care; comfort, safety, and confidentiality
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact effectively with doctors, patients, peers, and management
Requirements :
Minimum 1 to 2 Years of experience.
Candidates must have ARRT(R) certification, CA State Fluoroscopy Permit, and CRT.
CA State Venipuncture permit
BLS certification issued by AHA
