Substitute Teacher

Subcontracted employee working as a part of our Substitute Teaching Team

Bachelors degree required; Bachelors or Masters degree in education-related field is preferred

Summary of Position

Abundant Life Christian School is seeking enthusiastic, qualified, and creative Christian substitute teachers committed to growing students' interest in and skills using a pre-established curriculum. The ideal candidates will also prayerfully help students learn attitudes, skills, and subject matter that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible Christians to the praise and glory of God.

Required Spiritual Qualifications

All substitute teachers shall :

• Have received Jesus Christ as his / her Savior
• Believe that the Bible is Gods Word and standard for faith and daily living
• Be in agreement with schools Statement of Faith and Christian philosophy of education
• Be a Christian role model in attitude, speech, and actions toward others. This includes being committed to Gods Biblical standards for sexual conduct. Luke 6 : 40
• Be a member in good standing at a local church that has a Statement of Faith in significant agreement with the schools Statement of Faith
