We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team and play a key role in managing our financial operations.

Job Overview :

The Staff Accountant will assist in managing the company's day-to-day financial activities, with a focus on accounts receivable, accounts payable, and maintaining accurate financial records. This hands-on role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of the company’s financial processes and supporting overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

Accounts Receivable (AR) :

• Process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Monitor customer payments and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections.
• Reconcile AR subledger to the general ledger monthly.
• Prepare and distribute AR aging reports to management.

Accounts Payable (AP) :

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for payment.
• Ensure proper coding and approval of all invoices in line with company policies.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare and process check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.

General Accounting :

• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and other management reports.

Compliance and Controls :

• Adhere to and enforce internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing requested documentation.

Operational Support :

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflows for financial operations.
• Provide support for inventory management and costing as needed.
• Assist with special projects and process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
